The Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 is a successor to the original and popular, the Galaxy Pop smartphone boats, improved hardware and now comes with Android v2.3 OS on-board. The Galaxy Mini 2 is backed by a slightly faster 800 MHz single core processor while RAM is just doubled to its predecessor, now packs straight 512 MB of RAM, that’s claimed to handle all those heavy resources consuming apps, improved multitasking experience and faster web browsing.
It comes with a 3.27-inch HVGA capacitive multi-touch display and maintains pixel aspect ratio of 176 pixels per inch. The initial storage of Galaxy Mini 2 is quiet impressive with a 4 GB on-board, while a micro-SD card slot is also added for taking it further up to 32 GB that totals into whopping 36 GB storage capacity, quiet noticeable for an entry level Android smartphone. Camera wise, it has now a wee bit better, 3 MP rear facing fixed focus camera for shooting VGA resolution videos and does high-resolution image captures.
