    Product Description

    The Sony Xperia was previously known as Nozomi and Arc HD. It’s the second Sony only branded smartphone and also based on Android OS, v2.3 enhanced with Timescape user interface and is also the PlayStation certified smartphone that enables next generation mobile gaming experience. However, the Ice Cream Sandwich update will be outed later sometime in seconds quarter of 2012.

    On the front, it’s fitted with a generously large 4.3-inch HD resolution supported Reality display with Mobile Bravia engine for improved graphics and fitted with a Corning Gorilla glass on its top. Looking under the hood, the Xperia  S reveals a new generation Qualcomm 8260 chipset with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor as well as holds new Adreno 220 graphics for better gaming performance. It comes with a 1 GB of RAM, and will be available in options of 16 and 32 GB capacities.

    Additionally, the Xperia S has got a 12 MP Exmor R Camera on its back with LED flash and shoots Full HD resolution videos, plus there’s also a front facing 1.3 MP Camera for making video calls and does HD 720p resolution videos as well. Rest it’s packed with a 1750 mAh battery and incorporates all sorts of latest connectivity options that you’ve ever thought on your smartphone to be equipped with.

         Hello! Abhishek we know the March is already here, and so the shipping is already started. You can expect the Xperia S sometime around 15th of this month. Initially the Xperia S will be available with gingerbread on-board but Sony has planned to release the Ice-cream sandwich update very soon .
